Sport Supply Group Issues Corrective Release with respect to P.E.4LIFE

Dallas, Texas Monday April 15, 2002 - Sport Supply Group, Inc. (OTCBB: SSPY) announced that, contrary to SSG's earlier press release, P.E.4LIFE has no plans to have an on-line store that will compete with any team dealers or other on-line sporting goods stores. The potential relationship is like every other one that P.E.4LIFE has encouraged from any industry contributor; that is, a portion of the proceeds from SSG's on-line store will go back to P.E.4LIFE to promote its grassroots efforts.
